Chicken Noodle Soup
This winter has been very cold and it sure feels never-ending.
There's nothing better than a homemade Chicken Noodle Soup on a Northern Ontario cold winter day to feel cozy and warm.
As an added health benefit, I used whole wheat noodles (fiber benefit) and a handful of frozen peas (which are a good source of iron) along with lots of garlic, onion, carrots, celery and one chopped jalapeno pepper. The chicken was leftover chicken from a roast the night before. I added alot of black pepper and curry powder, which has many health benefits, which you can read here:
