1 3/4 cups of whole-wheat flour (I substituted 1/4 cup with oatmeal)
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 cups cabbage, grated
1 tbsp. baking powder

1 red pepper, diced
2 tbsp. black pepper (I used more...love pepper...I added coarse pepper)
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
2 tbsp. onion flakes
2 tbsp. canola oil
1/3 cup of unsweetened apple sauce1 tsp. salt

Combine dry ingredients.
Add cabbage and red pepper.
Whisk in eggs, milk and butter. Stir quickly.
400 degree oven/20 minutes
These are not a dessert type cookie, but more of a healthy snack. They would also go well as a bread with supper....you can make them into muffins too.
