Cocoa Apple Pie-Cake

I spontaneously made up this recipe this afternoon because I was craving chocolate.  Without measuring I mixed some whole wheat flour, pure unsweetened cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, oatmeal, raisins and cinnamon in a big bowl.  In another bowl, whisked an egg, some milk and some no-fat sour cream and stirred it in the cocoa mixture, adding more liquid to make the right texture.  I then patted it into a pie plate and topped it with 2 sliced apples, lemon zest and cinnamon and baked at 350 degrees F. for about 1/2 hour or so.

I'm definitely going to make it again.  It was so good! We both loved it. Now I know....no recipe required when you have an imagination and a variety of ingredients and spices in the house.
