Homemade Potato and Beet Chips

I decided to try making homemade chips for our afternoon snack.  The weather is so nice here for November.....summer-like sunny day so as we were sitting outside enjoying the rays, I thought about what we can munch on that's healthy.  Very easily, I thinly cut the beets and potatoes, put them in a bowl and coated them with a bit of canola/olive oil and spices (I used sage, smokey paprika and black pepper).  I put the oven at 425 degrees F and spread them on a pan....baking for about 15 minutes.  Were they ever good!  I am definitely going to make them again.....the only difference being....I'm going to make MORE lol.  Next time I'll try yams too....and maybe even carrot chips.
