Vegetable Fried Barley

Barley is commonly used in soups but it's a nice change using it in place of rice in fried rice dishes.  Barley is rich in both soluable and insoluable fiber.  It contains alot of the vitamins, minerals, amino acids and fiber that is needed for the body and promotes general heart health.  Here's a photo of the barley dish I made as a side dish the other night.

However, don't expect to get the same barley health benefits by drinking beer lol.
