I recently tried coconut flour for the first time after seeing it at our local bulk foods store. If you like the flavour of coconut, you'll love this flour in baking as an alternative to other flours. I used it in homemade health bars....sooooo good! I also added coconut flakes for an added coconut taste. I love coconut!
Not only does coconut flour tastes good, it also has many health benefits. It is a good source of protein, it has double the fiber found in wheat bran, it's low in carbs and it is gluten-free.
