Late Carrot Harvesting

Gardening season is over but I had a nice surprise this morning when I noticed a few carrots remaining that I missed picking.  One is the Thumbilina Carrot which are mini round carrots.  This one grew huge .... I wonder if it'll still taste good.  The other carrots are Atomic Red, which is a variety that is rich in beta-carotene because of it's deep red color.


I need carrots for tonight's supper (which I forgot to pick up at the grocery store), so I'm happy I took a romp through the garden!
